My Story

Welcome, and thank you for visiting!My name is Joe Mouawad, and I am a passionate chemist with a rich academic and professional journey in Lebanon and France. Originally from Lebanon, I completed my Bachelor’s and Master 1 degrees at the Lebanese University before starting my journey to France in 2019 with the goal of building a brighter future.In France, I pursued a Master 2 in Molecular Chemistry at the University of Rennes 1, where I deepened my expertise in R&D through an internship at the ISCR research center. My growing interest in sustainable development and green chemistry led me to a second Master 2 in Biorefinery and Catalysis at the University of Lille 1. During this period, I had the privilege of working on the synthesis and characterization of innovative catalysts at IRCELYON and CP2M, sharpening my skills in heterogeneous catalysis and analytical techniques.

After completing my academic journey, I transitioned into industry, taking on a role as an Analytical Chemist at CARSO, where I worked in the analysis of micropollutants in water using GC-MS technology. Seeking to expand my experience in pharmaceutical production, I then joined ERAS Labo as a Production Chemist, where I worked on the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and raw materials for homeopathy, all while upholding GMP standards.Today, I'm helping students by sharing my passion for chemistry through online teaching, supporting high school and first-year college students in mastering key concepts.
